A paradise for golfersThe advantages of playing golf in the Land of Light are obvious and plentiful: the chance to combine a golfing holiday with an interesting range of natural attractions and exciting urban environments, whilst at the same time being able to enjoy good accommodation and relax in lovely surroundings following the last putt of the day.
There aren't many places in the country where the golf courses are situated as close together as they are in the Land of Light, and the short distances between them mean that even the most choosy of golf enthusiasts can find several courses in the Land of Light that suit their tastes, as well as golfing challenges in the form of exciting holes that require plenty of care and thought. The golf courses are very different - both in terms of difficulty and the scenic location, which for the majority of players is an important part of the game.

The golf courses
At the coasts you find exciting courses which, due to their location close to the sea, are affected by the wind, particularly from the west, and thereby present particular challenges. The well-maintained courses provide an attractive contrast to the surrounding landscape and thus create a quite unique atmosphere.
Further inland you can find park-like courses that offer all the delights of the natural surroundings: hills and rolling terrain featuring lakes, streams, forests and, not least, superb views. These courses offer challenges to golfers of all abilities whatever their personal preferences.

FacilitiesThe majority of clubs have well laid out clubhouses with various facilities such as changing rooms, showers and a Pro Shop. Many also have their own restaurant, café or dispensers where you can buy food and drinks.

Pay & Play coursesFor new golfers or for those who aren't members of a club, many clubs have Pay & Play courses that are open to all. The Land of Light also has North Jutland's biggest Pay & Play facility.
